Ok, Water Mill follower there is a new face in the gospel music industry, and his name is Tre’ Nelson. Tre’ has the edge to influence and change the way gospel music is heard. His vision is to provide listeners with an alternative to secular radio.

He found his voice fusing progressive gospel music with an R&B feel that is truly his own. Tre’ makes it a point to use his music as a ministry to also reach those who may not attend church as well. His mesmerizing new style of Gospel Music does not involve any compromises when it comes to the expression of his faith. Tre’ passionately delivers messages in his music that were written for one reason; to win souls for Jesus Christ.

Now sit back and enjoy ~ Tre’ Nelson

We walk around as if we know everything…

We believe that, our acquired desires are the results of our sheer determination – but the “TRUTH” is, this is a false image.

Good times – relaxing and hanging with friends; not knowing it was a set up; and you’re the only one that survived…

Raped, confused – a total out of body experience, but it was God’s grace – she kept you…

Sister and brother no real connection – meeting a stranger in my 30’s, but glad to be taking this first step…

Sister: so hurt by pain, relying on half “TRUTH’s”, rather believe a lie then to come to the source – me.

Raised by a woman strict on discipline, but kindhearted and mothering to everyone she encountered…counting my blessings.

Fighting because of resentment – didn’t know you dislike me that much to cause me harm, and still to this day you’re gloating about it; “Truth” statement – shaking my head (smh).

My head buried in the sands of time…coming out a winner in the end, or so I thought, but the “Truth” is I’m still entertaining demons.

Real mother; too selfish for her own good, misguided by all the authority figures and still being misunderstood – “Truth” is I want you to be a mother, but you just can’t seem to fill those shoes.

Striving hard as hell to run away from myself, but at every corner and back alley I keep running into YOU – The SELF I’m running away from…

Laughing Out Loud…because I don’t know how to transform my image into the God given inheritance that is in the Good Book.

“Truth” is: We walk around as if we know everything, but the “Truth Serum”…We don’t know ____________ (you fill in the blank)

I was on the highway heading to a job interview…while driving there was torrential rain. So of course, instead of having a 45 minutes commute I ended up having a 2-hour ride.

While waiting for the traffic to slowly progress forward this song came on the “Yolanda Adams Morning Show”, on new music Tuesday. I keenly waited to hear what new song I could add to my discography of gospel music and the song “Speak” came on.

After every verse, I sung right along with Myron…I was totally moved to tears.

It has been an extreme 8 months of a season of “silent years” for me to endure, and hearing this song and reciting it made me believe that for that moment I CAN have WHAT I DECREE!

I ask you Lord…Why?

My heart hurts for I am trying…

Trying to walk this obedience journey.

My atmosphere is no longer pleasant, because I keep coming back to a blank canvas.

You are my only friend, for no other I can depend.

Lives lived accordingly, but no ending to misery.

I confess repeatedly…I repent for ALL of my sins.

Yet, I keep coming back to a blank canvas.

Do with me what you will, and also in the process show me how to feed my kids.

Tell me why I am enduring so much…You’ve built me strong, but now I am starting to sink.

I cry out to you Lord…For whence comes my help…I am ready with my arms and hands stretch out for you to catch me.

Tell me what a Challenge is…

Raising two children, taking care of home and being a wife.

Tell me what a Challenge is….

After given birth to a child in January and then off to graduate school in September, all the while holding a full time job.

Tell me what a Challenge is…

When you have worked all day, pick up the kids from school and day care, come home cook, give baths and go over homework, while you do your best to unwind yourself.

Tell me what a Challenge is…

When you’re the shoulder to lean on and vent too, while at the same time giving encouragement and advice, and trying to maintain your own sanity.

Tell me what a Challenge is…

Turning away from your old behavior; turning towards God, and doing your best not to pick up the old creature that was you.

Tell me what a Challenge is…

When all you have left is, your last breathe of strength to relax and your child calls your name?

Tell me what a Challenge is…

When Jehosaphat cried out to the Lord and was free from his enemies because he gave praise (Scripture 2 Chronicles 20: 1-17, 21-25)?

Well I said all of this to say, look a Challenge dead in the eyes and say – It is the praise of my God Almighty that gives me the strength to take on ALL of these challenges….and you know what – the story hasn’t even begun.
